TERSE Academic Day

Peer-Reviewed Research, Plus Where the Other Two Sessions Close Out

The invite-only, peer-reviewed academic day of TERSE — 3–4 topic-separated research sessions on mechanism design, market design, and protocol economics — plus a dedicated hour each for the Breakout and Workshop to present their results, so all three sessions land in front of the same room on the same day.

Why this session

Splitting the Breakout, Workshop, and TERSE across separate, disconnected moments meant each session's results had nowhere to go once the room emptied — no shared close for the program as a whole.

Folding a Breakout readout and a Workshop readout into the TERSE day fixes that: the peer-reviewed research sessions and the two hands-on sessions' outcomes are all in the room together, on Day 3, instead of fizzling out separately.

This structure — Day 1 Breakout → Day 2 Workshop → Day 3 TERSE with both readouts — is the confirmed shape of the program for EthCC[10].

Format

  1. Academic Sessions

    Day 3 of 3 · 6–8 hours, invite-only

    3–4 peer-reviewed, topic-separated research sessions — mechanism design, market design, and protocol economics — moderated by the TERSE steering committee.

  2. Breakout Readout

    Day 3 of 3 · 1 hour

    Teams from the Day 1 Token Engineering Breakout present results, prototypes, or open questions from their async working period.

  3. Workshop Readout

    Day 3 of 3 · 1 hour

    Findings from the Day 2 AI x Token Engineering Workshop's collaborative mapping session are consolidated and presented to the TERSE audience.
